The Cheshire Hike
Running the 16th costs money. The monthly 'subs' alone do not provide sufficient funds for the group to run, and it is necessary to raise funds in other ways. Click on the fundraising tab to see what fundraising events we are planning in the future.

We are intending to publish photographs of the group in their activities on various pages on this website.
A permission form can be found on the section news page.If you do not give permission for your young persons image to be used, please make sure that it is returned to one of the section leaders ASAP. No one will be identified by name without prior agreement.

Beavers - our youngest section for 6 to 8 years
Cubs - for 8 to 10½.
Scouts - For 10½ to 14.

We need more volunteers to join our committee in various roles. If you have any ideas or opinions on how the group should be run, come along to one of our committee meetings.

BAG PACKING
SATURDAY 21st APRIL 2012
AT SAINSBURYS, NANTWICH
A big thank you to all the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Young Leaders, Leaders and parent helpers.
A fantastic amount of £707.21 was raised.
Thanks must go to all the customers at Sainsburys, Nantwich who so kindly donated and Olwyn Payton who agreed for the 16th SWC Crewe Green Scout Group to visit the store.
Scouts Swimming Gala 2011
A team of Scouts attended the SWC District Swimming Gala at Crewe Baths on Saturday 8th October. A fantastic swim by all the Scouts resulted in both age groups winning. They won the Anniversary trophy and the Forest trophy for the 3rd time. Click here for a picture of the team!
Family Camp
Wow, what a great turn out!
14 Beavers, 23 Cubs, 17 Scouts, 3 Young Leaders and 15 Leaders / Helpers, a Grand Total of 72!
It was the first time for some Beavers that they had camped outdoors in the new tents recently purchased for them from the fundraising we do.
Beavers made Indian head dresses, went on a forest walk and did a nature quiz whilst the Cubs and Scouts watched rabbits being skinned.
Everyone helped to prepare vegatables for the Sausage Hotpot, which we cooked on open fires in cast iron crock pots. For Photos.
